Five star-studded New Year concerts will entertain revellers in Abu Dhabi as part of a programme of entertainment on 29-31 December presented by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi).

“TCA Abu Dhabi has been joined by leading UAE event organisers and private sector partners to deliver a superb package of entertainment from some of the most famous Arab singing stars around, both Emirati and from across the region,” said Sultan al-Dhaheri, Acting Executive Director of Tourism, TCA Abu Dhabi.

Emirati singers Hussain al-Jassmi and Balqees will perform at du Forum on Yas Island on 29 December. On 30 December, a concert will be held at Al-Ain Municipality Theatre, starring Mansour Zayed – known for the song Ya Dama’ Aainy – and Aryam, whose first single Ya maazal helped build her large fan-base in the country.

The Culture Centre in Madinat Zayed will host Emiratis Fatima Zahrat and Mohammed Al Minhali for a night of music on 30 December. The duo will perform traditional classical Arabic music highlighting the best of modern UAE songs.

On New Year’s Eve, Lebanese multi-platinum and best-selling artist Najwa Karam will entertain the crowds alongside Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred at Abu Dhabi’s National Theater.

At the same time, Al-Ain Municipality Theatre will host Fayez Al Saeed, Ruwida Al Mahroqi, Shamma Hamdan and Habib Alyassi for another glittering night of music.
