The rate of increase in the sales prices of homes in Dubai slowed in the first half of 2014 but continued to grow at an exceptional rate in April-June, according to figures in the latest Dubai property market report by Asteco, the local real estate brokerage and advisory firm.
It said that selected apartment prices rose by 6 per cent in the second quarter of 2014. This is equivalent to an annualised rate of increase of more than 25 per cent. Villa prices rose by 3 per cent in the same period, equivalent to an annual rate of increase of 13 per cent.
