Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) will pay tribute to Academy Award winning director Steven Spielberg’s Jaws as it marks its 40th jubilee.
The complimentary presentation screening will be hosted at the Beach, opposite JBR and attended by Oscar-winner Richard Dreyfuss.
“I am delighted that we can host such a special event in the company of the screen icon Richard Dreyfuss. ‘Jaws’ has enthralled countless people over the last four decades,” said DIFF chairman Abdulhamid Juma. ”It has many truly memorable screen moments which, helped propel Steven Spielberg, Richard Dreyfuss and many of those involved with the film’s production to the exalted status of Hollywood legends.”

The 12th edition of DIFF will see films screened over eight days at the Madinat Jumeirah Arena, Madinat Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, VOX Cinemas, Mall of the Emirates and The Beach. Cinemagoers will be able to buy tickets from the DIFF box office, which is open online at www.dubaifilmfest.com. Tickets are also available from the box office at VOX Cinemas Mall of the Emirates, Madinat Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah and Madinat Arena, Madinat Jumeirah from 9 December.
