Hollywood star Emily Blunt has joined the judging panel for the 3rd annual IWC Film Maker Award at the Dubai International Film Festival which opens in December.
The winner will get a cash prize of $100,000.
This year’s winning project will be selected from three shortlisted scripts, which will assessed by a jury of international film-industry experts. “I’m truly excited about visiting Dubai, and it’s a great honour for me to be a part of the IWC Filmmaker Award jury and support a valuable initiative that promotes the art of film in the Gulf,” Blunt said in a statement.
Tickets for the 11th Dubai International Film Festival went on sale on 12 October. The event is on 10-17 December.
