The 2nd Al Gharbia Development Forum was told this morning that the development programme for the Western Region of Abu Dhabi is beginning to deliver results.
“We will be announcing a number of vital projects later today at this conference,” Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in the Western Region Mohamed Hamad bin Azzan Al Mazrouei told the forum.
“We are hearing many ideas about enhancing the investing environment in the region,” Al Mazrouei said. “This is the first step in promoting sustainable development in the Western Region.”
The Western Region accounts for 60 per cent of the land area of the emirate of Abu Dhabi. It is the location of the Abu Dhabi’s oil and gas reserves.
The Al Gharbia Development Forum has been organised by MEED for the Western Region Development Council.
